This mix came about suddenly. Though by the track listing it looks like there’s a lot of repeating themes and artists, which there are, the mix of music itself is nicely rounded with many moods and sound types throughout. It illustrates, mostly through lyrics, my relationship with my former bestie, who abandoned our friendship after he molested me in my sleep when we were teens.
While I figure it may help to rediscover some classic favorites, I doubt many will identify with the subject matter quite like I do. But isn’t that the point of music anyway? Make it yours. Enjoy.
